4 Topic Presentation

Feedback and suggestions I got on my presentation:

According to the votes on nodenogg, most people seemed to be interested more in the fairytale topic. This is also my favorite topic and the one I wanted to gamify, so I guess this was reflected in my presentation.

What I need to improve

  • I had trouble with timing-I didn't rehearse the speech at home and that was reflected in how I presented. My mind was all over the place because I didn't have a clear structure for my topics and talk points.

  • I need to learn how to engage people and how to make things interesting-this is something I found hard to do.

  • Structure-I still don't know how to organise slides and what information to include in them. Need more exercie for this.

Overall I found this very useful and I am ready to improve and get more confident at presentations and public speaking.

Workshop

After the presentation we all teamed in groups of four in order to explore one topic for 20 mins. In my group(Tim, Jake and me) I suggested we could explore ideas on Fairytales, the topic I picked for the next presentation. I helped them find online materials in english and explained some concepts like "ielele" and "calusarii". Here are the results:
